Lindsay Piper

Registered Psychologist

"My work is grounded in helping athletes build confidence, navigate pressure, and develop the mental skills to support both their performance and well-being—on and off the ice."

ABOUT

Lindsay Piper is a Registered Psychologist and the owner of Axis Psychology. With a background in competitive sport, coaching, and education, Lindsay brings a unique understanding of the demands athletes face and the important role mental health plays in both performance and personal development.

Having played collegiate basketball, Lindsay understands firsthand the challenges and opportunities inherent in competitive sport. Her experiences and education shape her work with athletes, helping them navigate competition pressures while supporting their growth beyond the game.

Lindsay works with athletes to address concerns such as performance anxiety, confidence, perfectionism, emotional regulation, disordered eating, and the pressure to meet expectations.

She is passionate about helping athletes develop a strong relationship with themselves and their sport.

APPROACH

Lindsay believes that performance and mental health go hand in hand. Her goal is to create a space where athletes feel understood and supported while developing practical tools they can carry into competition, relationships, and everyday life. Ultimately, she aims to help athletes perform in ways that align with their values while building a foundation for long-term growth—both as athletes and as people.
